The 8th annual Clays on The Bayou event is shaping up to top last year!
This year, money raised from the event will benefit the
Shriners Hospitals for Children (SHC). Specifcally, our goal is support the SHC orthopedic facility here in Houston.
Shriners Hospitals for Children has a mission to:
- Provide the highest quality care to children with neuromusculoskeletal
conditions, burn injuries and other special healthcare needs within a
compassionate, family-centered and collaborative care environment.
- Provide for the education of physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Conduct research to discover new knowledge that improves the quality of
care and quality of life of children and families.
This mission is carried out without regard to race, color, creed, sex or
sect, disability, national origin or ability of a patient or family to pay. It's only through the generosity of supporters like you or your company
that allows SHC to continue this crucial mission.
About Allied Advocates Foundation
The Allied Advocates Foundation (AAF) is a non-profit started by five
attorneys with a vision to give back to the community which has given
them so much. The primary purpose is to raise funds to give to local charities
in need. Given the continued reduction of for affordable health care in
Texas, it was important to us to find a local charity working hard to
help those who don't have the financial means. After considering several
organizations, AAF decided on Shriners Hospitals for Children. 100% of
the net proceeds will be given to SHC.
